Timesheet and signal data collected by the “time cockpit” service is saved and processed using the cloud computing platform “Microsoft Azure”. As a consequence the Privacy Statements for Microsoft Online Services apply for the subscription or testing of “time cockpit”, too.

Collection, Use and Sharing of Personal Information

We will collect and use personal information received through the Service to provide, operate, and improve this and other software architects products and services.

We may also use the information collected to address support requests, troubleshoot problems with the Service, or to provide important information about the Service.

To send newsletters, software architects uses the newsletter service MailChimp. MailChimp is provided by The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 512 Means Street, Suite 404 Atlanta, GA 30318. The Rocket Science Group has signed the Save Harbor Agreement and is therefore bound to the so-called Safe Harbor Principles (principles that enable European organizations to legally share individual-related data with organizations in the U.S.). If you have registered for our newsletter, your e-mail address and preferred language will be stored with MailChimp. Besides that, no additional personal data is stored/transferred. MailChimp will not pass this personal data to any third party but if there exists a valid judicial claim. MailChimp enables software architects to analyze newsletter campaigns. The analysis does not refer to individuals, but only to campaigns on the whole. So software architects can, for example, analyze how much recipients have opened a newsletter or how much recipients have clicked on certain links within a newsletter. The results of the analysis will only be used to optimize future newsletter campaigns. Further, MailChimp provides possibilities to integrate Google Analytics in newsletters. Personal information collected on software architects sites and services may be stored and processed in the EU or any other country in which software architects, its affiliates, or its or their subsidiaries or service providers maintain facilities.

Trial Period

Service Trials are provided for the purpose of testing the Service before purchase. software architects may temporarily retain personal information collected during a Service Trial after the end of the trial period to improve your customer experience in the event you later decide to purchase the Service. However, personal information may be deleted by the Service at any time after the end of the trial period.
